Jackson Mahomes seems to attract more attention than his incredibly famous brother.
The younger sibling of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently learned that the preliminary hearing for his felony case has been rescheduled to January 2024. Jackson Mahomes is facing three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of battery, based on court documents from earlier this year. The allegations describe an incident in which he grabbed the owner of Aspens Restaurant and Lounge by the throat, tilted her head back, and kissed her three times.

As per a report from Radar Online, Mahomes’ attorney, Brandan Davies, requested that Judge Thomas Sutherland release his client from pretrial supervision. Davies pointed out that Mahomes has consistently tested negative for drugs since being charged with aggravated sexual battery in May, with approximately ten clean tests.
“I think somewhere around 10 [tests] have come back clean,” Davies said.
This plea was met with a firm objection from Megan Ahsens, who stated, “Judge, there is, we’ve had information that would indicate that he has been having contact with someone he’s not supposed to be having contact with and we still think he needs to be monitored,” she said. “I don’t think that the defense is going to want me to say some of the things I need to say, so if we can do this via email, that would be great. I think the court will understand my objection.”
In response, Davies reiterated that his client “has committed no wrongdoing.”
We will continue to provide updates on Mahomes’ case as they become available. Rest assured, many will be eagerly awaiting the outcome concerning Patrick’s brother.
