Troy Aikman is well aware of the Jay-Z meme that has been circulating for years, humorously likening him to the “white Jay-Z.”
During the broadcast of the Chargers-Cowboys game on Monday night, Jay-Z was in attendance, and Aikman playfully acknowledged the meme, saying, “There’s a meme that’s going around, people think that’s my doppelganger, me and Jay-Z. How about that?”

Aikman had previously discussed the meme on Pablo Torre’s show and expressed uncertainty about the authenticity of the image.

He shared, “Yes, I am aware of that, White JAY-Z. There was a meme, it still pops up on my feed from time to time. It was some game, yeah — I don’t know what… I think this was before everything kinda went AI. But, [now] you don’t know what’s real and what’s not, so I don’t know if that was actually an unedited picture of me, but, pretty scary.”
Undoubtedly, it’s a peculiar resemblance, but once you spot it, you can’t unsee it.
