Kristin Juszczyk recently opened up about her struggles with “imposter syndrome” following the rapid success of her design business, triggered by Taylor Swift wearing one of her custom creations during the 2023 NFL season.
In a recent Q&A session on her Instagram, the 30-year-old designer, who is married to 49ers Pro Bowl fullback Kyle Juszczyk, candidly discussed her feelings amidst the whirlwind of change.
“It’s hard sometimes not to have imposter syndrome when you start to have success, so I struggle with that but I’m trying to just keep my head down and focus on my main goal which is to get this line off the ground!” Juszczyk shared.
Reflecting on her journey, Juszczyk expressed disbelief at the surreal turn of events, emphasizing her long-held dream of becoming an entrepreneur and starting her own line. She shared a snapshot of her lock screen, adorned with images of her at work and cherished moments with her husband, symbolizing her journey towards her aspirations.
Juszczyk’s venture into fashion stemmed from her frustration with the lack of fashionable clothing to wear to her husband’s NFL games. Her breakthrough came when Taylor Swift sported one of her custom puffer jackets during a high-profile NFL game, catapulting her into the spotlight and leading to a licensing deal with the NFL.
Despite her newfound fame and success, Juszczyk remains grounded, prioritizing the quality of her designs over rushing to release her line. She revealed her hopes to launch the line by the start of the 2024 season, emphasizing her commitment to delivering exceptional designs.
