Ke’Shawn Vaughn’s NFL journey has been marked by peaks and valleys over his four seasons.
Initially selected in the third round by the Buccaneers in 2020, Vaughn contributed to their postseason success, notably during their Super Bowl-winning campaign alongside Tom Brady.
He even secured a starting role in the playoffs the following year, highlighting his potential with a touchdown in the opening postseason game.
However, Vaughn struggled to solidify a consistent position within the Buccaneers, eventually leading to his release from Tampa Bay.
His career took a turn when he joined the New England Patriots late last year, earning a place on their practice squad.

Despite showing promise, his tenure with the Patriots was short-lived, as he was waived by the team on Monday.
This move was part of several transactions as the Patriots worked to finalize their 90-man roster ahead of training camp.
Among the additions announced were four undrafted rookies: running back Terrell Jennings, guard Ryan Johnson, linebacker Jay Person, and defensive end Jotham Russell.
Russell, in particular, presents an intriguing prospect as an Australian player signed through the International Pathways Program, adding diversity and potential to the team’s roster.
In his NFL career spanning 43 regular-season games, Ke’Shawn Vaughn has amassed 13 rushes for 384 yards, finding the end zone twice on the ground.
Additionally, he has recorded 14 receptions for 81 yards, contributing another touchdown through the air.
Vaughn’s postseason appearances include four games, including the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl LV triumph, during which he has carried the ball 22 times for 74 yards and made two receptions for 9 yards.
Despite his limited opportunities, Vaughn has showcased flashes of potential on the field, particularly in critical playoff matchups.
