To bring joy to Mikal Bridges, a simple solution is to treat him to some Chipotle!
In a recent interview with GQ Sports, the 27-year-old Brooklyn Nets basketball player expressed his deep affection for the Mexican grill fast food chain, known for its customizable bowls, tacos, and Mission-style burritos.
GQ Sports shared a TikTok video of Bridges receiving a Chipotle order, captioning it, “Hey @Chipotle get this man a gift card.” The extended version of the interview was also posted on YouTube.
Reflecting on his long-standing love for Chipotle, Bridges stated, “I’ve eaten this every day, and it’s been about… How many years since I’ve been eating Chipotle?” After a moment of contemplation, he realized it had been around a decade. “Since 2013, 14? So, about 10 years?” he estimated.
Acknowledging the teasing he receives from friends and family about his consistent Chipotle choices, Bridges humorously defended his preference, saying, “It’s too fire to not have it every single time.” He then shared his go-to order: “My bowl order — I get white rice, no beans, double chicken, medium and mild salsa, corn and lettuce.”
Bridges even mentioned a past ingredient that he used to include in his order but had to drop – hot salsa. Explaining the decision, he disclosed that consuming it would leave him “just chuggin’ water” after one bite, describing the experience as “painful.”
In the TikTok comments, a user humorously remarked, “So it wasn’t me just getting older. The hot salsa is actually hotter.”
While no scientific studies have linked Chipotle to outstanding sportsmanship, it’s worth noting that Travis Kelce, as revealed in old tweets, is also a fan of the popular Mexican grill.
