The LIV Golf League has unveiled more details about its 2025 schedule, including a new international venue and a fresh location for its individual championship. The league, which aims to continue its expansion and bring professional golf to new audiences around the world, has revealed a mix of familiar and brand-new stops for next season.
LIV previously announced the first four of 14 events for the upcoming season, all hosted in international markets. On Wednesday, the league followed up with an announcement of six additional dates, providing a clearer picture of what to expect in 2025.
One of the major highlights of the 2025 season is the selection of Indianapolis as the host city for the individual championship, which will be held from August 15-17 at Chatham Hills, located on the city’s north side. This event will follow closely after LIV Golf Chicago, set to take place from August 8-10 at Bolingbrook Golf Club, which retains its spot for the second consecutive year.
These two events coincide with the beginning of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Playoffs, including the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tennessee, and the BMW Championship in Maryland, offering golf fans plenty of options for high-stakes competition.
Despite the excitement surrounding the new stops, there are also some notable changes to the schedule. According to Josh Carpenter of the Sports Business Journal, Nashville and Houston will no longer be hosting LIV events in 2025.
This comes as somewhat of a surprise, as the Nashville event held in June was reported to have drawn the largest U.S. crowds in the league’s history. While those venues won’t return, it’s clear that LIV is still intent on expanding its footprint and reaching new audiences.

Another key U.S. event added to the 2025 schedule is LIV Golf Dallas, which will take place at Maridoe Golf Club from June 27-29. Previously the site of the league’s team championship, Maridoe is now transitioning to host a summer event. The new site for the team championship, however, remains unannounced, leaving fans curious about where the climactic team battles will take place.
In Indianapolis, LIV Golf has entered into a one-year contract with Chatham Hills, which includes an option to extend into 2026.
Should LIV decide to exercise this option, local and state sports and tourism agencies have committed at least $1.25 million to support the event, highlighting the city’s enthusiasm for hosting such a major tournament and the potential economic boost it could provide.
International venues will continue to play an important role in the 2025 LIV Golf season. Valderrama in Spain, a legendary course with a storied history, will once again host an event from July 11-13, while JCB in England will also make a return, hosting from July 25-27.
Both venues received positive reviews in the previous season, and their inclusion in the 2025 lineup signals a commitment to keeping fan-favorite courses as part of the rotation.
In addition to returning venues, LIV is adding another international stop to its growing list of destinations. The Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea, located in Incheon, South Korea, will host LIV Golf Korea from May 2-4.
This marks the first time the LIV Golf League will head to South Korea, bringing professional golf back to the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club, which famously hosted the Presidents Cup in 2015—the first and only time the prestigious event was held in Asia. The inclusion of the Korean event speaks to LIV’s strategy of growing its international presence and tapping into the enthusiasm of golf fans in Asia.
While these announcements provide a comprehensive look at a majority of the schedule, several events are still yet to be revealed.
Fans are eagerly awaiting further updates as the league continues to finalize its lineup for the 2025 season.
As LIV Golf aims to carve out a unique place in the world of professional golf, its 2025 schedule is shaping up to be one of its most exciting and dynamic yet, promising thrilling events both in the U.S. and abroad.
