During Wednesday’s episode of their “New Heights” podcast, Jason Kelce teased his younger brother Travis for filming Taylor Swift’s Paris Eras Tour show with the flash on.
Jason compared Travis’s actions to their dad’s, jokingly calling it a “dad-like move.”
“You got caught pulling an Ed Kelce move here, taking a video with your flash on,” Jason said. “What are you doing, Trav? You’re supposed to be better than this.”
Travis tried to defend himself, explaining that his phone automatically turned on the flash because it was so dark in the stadium.
“I was just trying to get some good video, some good memories,” he said. “I don’t give a damn.”
However, Jason continued to poke fun at him, sarcastically commenting on the effectiveness of the flash from a distance. “You probably got great video. The flash makes a big difference from a thousand feet,” he quipped.
Several fans had posted videos of Travis filming the “Tortured Poets Department” portion of the concert from the VIP suite. Swift, dressed in a dramatic white taffeta dress for most of the set, stripped down to a black crystal-embellished bra top and briefs before singing “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” Travis seemed particularly interested in this new number, capturing the moment with his phone’s flash on.
Travis has attended several of Swift’s Eras Tour shows, but this was his first time seeing the revamped version, which included a new setlist, the “TTPD” set, and new outfits. He enjoyed the concert alongside Swift’s friends Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, describing the experience as a “blast.”
Praising the concert, Travis said, “Her new rendition of the Eras Tour, I suggest everybody go see it. It has her new ‘Tortured Poets Department,’ a handful of those songs in the new show, which means there’s a new segment, new lights, new dancing, and everything. I enjoyed every bit of it.”
While it’s unclear if Travis will attend Swift’s upcoming shows in Sweden, the couple remains together somewhere in Europe. However, the exact location remains undisclosed.
