Jason Kelce playfully roasted his brother, Travis Kelce, in a humorous social media post after jokingly implying that the Kansas City Chiefs star had “abandoned” him. The playful jab came as Jason appeared in a commercial for Garage Beer, a brand that both Kelce brothers are now part-owners of.
In the commercial, Jason Kelce, the recently retired center for the Philadelphia Eagles, opened with a mock-serious tone, addressing the audience: “A lot of you asked me, ‘Has Travis changed? Is he more Hollywood now from all the fame and attention Garage Beer has brought him?'”
With a smirk, Jason turned to a cardboard cutout of Travis and asked, “Right, Trav?” The cutout, of course, remained silent. Jason continued, “That’s just crazy. It’s just beer. So what if there are millions of fans around the world? He still makes time for the garage hangs. He’s always there for me. He would never abandon me.”
In a moment of mock sincerity, Jason asked the cutout, “You’d never leave me, right?” before toasting it with a beer can. As he did, the cardboard Travis toppled over, perfectly timed to cap off the joke.
The funny clip quickly made its way onto social media, where Jason couldn’t resist poking more fun at his brother. He quote-tweeted the video, saying, “Trav usually has more personality than this, training camp sure is wearing him thin. A bit stodgy if you ask me…”

The lighthearted banter between the Kelce brothers is nothing new to fans who follow their antics, especially on their “New Heights” podcast. Back in June, the duo announced on the podcast that they had become part-owners of Garage Beer, a Cincinnati-based brand.
During that announcement, Travis Kelce emphasized the no-frills approach of the beer, saying, “[This] isn’t about making a fancy slogan or trying to push you to, you know, have fewer calories and all that. No… if you like good beer, this is a good beer.”
Jason added, “Our goal … we want this beer to be enjoyed by the guys… and women that drink beer, that enjoy beer.”
The commercial and Jason’s social media quip are just the latest examples of the Kelce brothers’ well-known sense of humor and close bond, both on and off the field.
As they continue to build their brand, it’s clear that they’re having a lot of fun along the way.
