Jason Kelce is embracing a new sport in Paris.
During his first summer since retiring from football, the former Philadelphia Eagles center was seen on a field hockey pitch in Paris, honing his skills with his wife, Kylie, amid a significant heat wave.
Photos shared by the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce account on X (formerly known as Twitter) captured the couple’s focused expressions as they worked on Jason’s field hockey techniques. “Coach Ky spotted in Paris working with a new Field Hockey prospect,” the podcast’s account playfully noted in the post.
While Jason may be the household’s former professional athlete, Kylie is the true field hockey expert. The mother of three played the sport in college at Cabrini University and continues to promote it through youth camps and various initiatives.

On July 27, Jason and Kylie attended the U.S. women’s field hockey match at the Paris Olympics, donning fun outfits to show their support for Team USA.
Despite the American team’s 4-1 defeat to Argentina, the Kelce’s enthusiasm remained high. Speaking to the Associated Press after the match, Jason expressed their excitement about attending the Olympic Games now that he’s retired.
“We love sports, we love competition, we love world events,” Jason said. “This is such a unique place where the entire world gets to come together and bond over competition and sports.”
In March, Kylie had a memorable experience interviewing Team USA players Ashley Sessa and Kelee Lepage for a segment on NBC Philadelphia. Reflecting on the opportunity, Kylie shared her excitement: “I could not have said yes faster,” she said when the network asked if she would like to interview two of the Olympic-qualifying athletes.
After filming the segment, Kylie described it as “such a cool experience” and “an honor to hang out and chat with Ashley and Kelee.” Her involvement in the sport continues to bring attention to field hockey, highlighting its significance and encouraging new participants.
As Jason transitions into his post-football life, he and Kylie continue to share their love for sports, competition, and world events, making the most of their time together and inspiring others along the way.
