Jason and Kylie Kelce are fully embracing the excitement of the Paris Olympics!
The retired NFL star and his wife made a surprise appearance at Team USA’s women’s field hockey match on Saturday, July 27 in Paris. They cheered enthusiastically as the team faced a tough 4-1 loss to Argentina.
Dressed patriotically, Jason sported a blue USA sweatshirt, while Kylie wore a red, white, and blue jacket. Adding a French twist, the former Philadelphia Eagles star topped off his look with a blue beret.
“When we found out that we were going to have an opportunity to go to this, the more we thought about it, we were like, ‘Let’s take advantage of it now that we can actually do it,’” Jason told the Associated Press. “We love sports, we love competition, we love world events. This is such a unique place where the entire world gets to come together and bond over competition and sports.”

Despite the team’s loss, Jason, who spent his entire 13-year career with the Eagles, praised their tireless effort. He found the game “fun” to watch and expressed pride in the team’s hard-fought battle.
In photos shared by USA Field Hockey, the high-profile couple posed with the team, proudly wearing their Team USA attire. Jason revealed to the AP that he bought his beret at a souvenir shop.
Field hockey holds a special place for Kylie, who played the sport in college at Cabrini University. In March, she joined Team USA players Ashley Sessa and Kelee Lepage on the field, filmed a TikTok, and interviewed them for a segment on NBC Philadelphia.
“I would say I’ve always wanted to come and see an Olympic Games,” Kylie told the AP after Saturday’s match. “When they qualified to come to Paris, I was like, that kind of makes sense. And then when I got to sit down with Ashley and Kelee, it was kind of a no-brainer. … Through and through, it made sense. We’re happy to be here.”
Ashley Sessa, the youngest member of the team at 20, scored the U.S.’s only goal during the match. She praised Kylie in an interview with the AP last week, highlighting her “amazing heart” and “down-to-earth” personality.
“Meeting Kylie was an amazing experience,” Sessa said. “It’s great to meet someone who also shares the same passion to grow the game. Having the opportunity to connect and relate with her is wonderful.”
The Kelces are among numerous celebrities in Paris for the Games. On Sunday, July 28, stars like Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and Snoop Dogg were spotted cheering on the women’s gymnastics team, adding to the excitement and star power of the Olympic festivities.
