Donna Kelce will reportedly portray a restaurant manager of a Kansas City BBQ establishment. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and several Chiefs players are also set to make appearances, adding an authentic touch to the movie.
Scheduled to premiere this winter as part of the Hallmark Channel’s 15th annual “Countdown to Christmas” programming event, “Holiday Touchdown” promises to be a heartwarming addition to the holiday season. The cast will also feature well-known actors Tyler Hynes, Hunter King, and Ed Begley Jr.
The movie will be shot exclusively in various Kansas City locations, including the iconic Arrowhead Stadium, bringing the spirit of the city to the screen. Hallmark Cards, Inc., the parent company of the Hallmark Channel, was founded in Kansas City by J.C. Hall in 1910, further cementing the movie’s connection to the community.
This project represents a unique intersection of sports and entertainment, with Donna Kelce’s involvement adding an extra layer of charm. Her participation reflects the close-knit nature of the Chiefs organization and their commitment to engaging with their community in innovative ways.
Fans of the Chiefs and the Kelce family, as well as Hallmark enthusiasts, will undoubtedly be looking forward to seeing how “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” unfolds on their screens this holiday season.
