Dak Prescott is gearing up for the most significant challenge of his life—fatherhood.
Over the weekend, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback and his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, shared the joyful news of expecting their first child, a baby girl.
Sarah Jane Ramos made the announcement on her Instagram page, and Dak Prescott echoed the excitement on his Instagram stories with the captions “Beyond Blessed!” and “Girl Dad Incoming.”
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Prescott expressed his enthusiasm about becoming a father and the divine timing of the news. He shared, “Super excited. Super blessed. God’s timing is everything. I actually wanted a girl. I know it’s not going to be easy, especially being my daughter.”
In July, Prescott had participated in a Cowboys fan’s gender reveal at his camp, where the fan was expecting a boy. Now, he is set to embrace the role of a “girl dad.”

While Dak and his team face challenges on the field, currently trailing the Eagles by two games despite the Cowboys having the NFL’s best +162 point differential, Prescott remains in top form. The Cowboys’ 8-3 record includes a notable 28-23 loss to the Eagles in Week 9.
As Dak continues to excel on the field, some may speculate that the positive turn in his personal life with this relationship could be a key factor in his success.
