Welcome back, Mitch Trubisky!
The Buffalo Bills have signed former second overall draft pick Mitch Trubisky, according to NFL insider Mike Garafolo.
Trubisky had spent the previous two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and was released by them this offseason.
Trubisky started two games for the Steelers when starting quarterback Kenny Pickett got injured last season but was benched for Mason Rudolph after a poor performance in Indianapolis.
Trubisky previously backed up Bills starting quarterback Josh Allen in 2021 so it’s a familiar position for the 29-year-old as he will once again be in that role.
For his career, Trubisky has 12,536 passing yards, 72 passing touchdowns and 48 interceptions over 69 games played.
