Taylor Swift conspiracy theories abound, and her recent appearance at MetLife Stadium has sparked quite a unique one.
Last Sunday, Taylor Swift was in attendance at MetLife Stadium to witness the Chiefs triumph over the Jets. While many assumed she was there to support her new flame, Travis Kelce, an unusual theory regarding her presence has emerged on the internet.

Fran Hoepfner of Vulture penned an intriguing article suggesting that Swift attended the Jets game as a deliberate attempt to divert attention away from her private jet usage, generating a new set of links, photos, and stories when people search for “Taylor Swift jet.”
Rather, the most guilty of private-plane-using celebs now has a whole new crop of links, photos, and stories that come up when you google “Taylor Swift jet.”
Okay, no one is saying Taylor Swift is maybe-dating football player Travis Kelce with the sole purpose of one day watching a New York Jets game from the comfort of a private suite in order to permanently bury the emissions data about her private-jet usage and catapult pictures of her and the Deadpool universe to the top of Google results instead. But she, like the shrewdest of celebs and most humble of bloggers alike, is almost certainly not ignorant of a too-good-to-be-true coincidence of search-engine optimization.
Instead of finding information about her private planes, a search for “Taylor Swift’s jets” or “Taylor Swift jet” now predominantly leads to content related to her presence in a suite at the Chiefs-Jets game.
Swift has made appearances at the last two Chiefs games, and it remains uncertain whether she’ll be in Minnesota this Sunday to witness the Chiefs facing off against the Vikings.
If Taylor’s PR team indeed orchestrated this masterful strategy to alter the Google algorithm, kudos to their ingenuity.
