What does Travis Kelce’s body language reveal?
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star player, has solidified his status as one of the greatest tight ends of all time with two Super Bowl victories, eight Pro Bowl appearances, and consistently outstanding performances spanning over a decade.
However, despite his remarkable achievements on the field, Kelce has never garnered as much attention as when rumors began circulating about his relationship with Taylor Swift.

The pair has been spotted together on multiple occasions, with Swift causing a frenzy among fans when she attended the Chiefs’ impressive 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears in late September. Once again, Swift was in the stands to watch the Chiefs take on the Jets on Sunday night.
During the game, the Chiefs put on a mixed performance, squandering a 17-point lead but ultimately winning 23-20. Kelce, who had scored a touchdown in front of the “Shake It Off” singer the previous week, was closely marked by Jets’ cornerback Sauce Gardner, who effectively silenced the Chiefs’ star. After the game, Kelce was seen leaving the field with an expression of frustration.
Although many fans believed that the 33-year-old was disheartened by his inability to impress Swift, body language expert Darren Stanton of Action Network contends that Kelce’s focus remains squarely on the team—a reassuring observation for Chiefs fans.
“Travis is a big guy, but he was moving quite slowly and labored, his shoulders were down,” Stanton exclusively told Mirror US via Action Network after Kelce was spotted leaving the field and getting on the team bus after the win. “He was almost moving in slow motion. You can tell he’s not in a very positive frame of mind. He’s clearly dejected.
“If you look at that in contrast to the clip of him walking with somebody else, he’s walking at quite a fast pace, his shoulders are back, he’s smiling – that’s a million miles away, emotionally, from when he was getting on the bus. It just shows the two distinct patterns of behavior that he uses when he’s in an upbeat mood and when he’s not feeling particularly motivated.”
Stanton goes on to elaborate that, judging by his body language, Travis appears to be considerably more dedicated to his team than to his emerging romance with Taylor Swift.
“He’s more concerned about the result of the game and his teammates. We’ve been down this road before with Taylor Swift. I’ve not seen anything yet that tells me they’re actually dating. She does like to be a bit mischievous, so I’m not entirely convinced it’s a true romance.
“Any emotion that I’ve spotted from his body language is more to do with his team. Overall, Travis is looking dejected, a little bit low and unhappy.”
The Chiefs’ next game is set for Sunday when they take on the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium. We’ll need to closely monitor Travis Kelce’s body language to uncover any further insights it might provide.
