Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift’s relationship became public only in September, yet one of Kelce’s teammates from the Chiefs is already speculating about a potential proposal.
James Winchester, the long snapper for Kansas City, has been alongside Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium for nine years, during which they’ve won three Super Bowls together.
With such a long history together, Winchester is among the few in football who know the legendary tight end inside out.

According to Winchester, his close friend Travis is fully committed to Taylor for the long term, to the extent that he can envision them taking their relationship to the next level.
During an episode of the “Like a Farmer” podcast, when questioned about the possibility of Kelce and Swift getting engaged in the future, Winchester responded confidently, saying, “Yeah, I can definitely see it.”
“I think they’re very similar in a lot of ways.”
“Being around Trav for the last nine years, I mean, I think they’re more similar than you would think. So I wish the best for them.”
“I’m gonna go with what our kicker Harrison Butker said, “I hope you guys get married and have a lot of kids.”
“So you know, I’m like hey go for it, have a family. I’m happy for them.”
Kelce and Swift’s relationship has flourished since the pop star publicly acknowledged their romance by attending a game at Arrowhead for the first time back in September, coinciding with Kansas City’s win over the Chicago Bears.
Eight months later, love continues to bloom for the dynamic duo, with Swift regularly supporting Kelce at his games throughout the season, culminating in her attendance at the Chiefs’ recent Super Bowl triumph in Las Vegas.
