Alix Earle is wrapping up 2023 with some revealing insights into her romantic journey, particularly with NFL star Braxton Berrios and the public drama involving his ex-girlfriend, Sophia Culpo.
In her podcast, “Hot Mess with Alix Earle,” the 23-year-old influencer shares her side of the story without directly naming Berrios or Culpo. Instead, she refers to them as “NFL man” and his “ex.”

In this tell-all episode, Earle details the timeline of her relationship with Berrios, starting from their hangout at a Super Bowl party in February. Although nothing happened during this initial meeting, Berrios unfollowed Earle on Instagram.
According to Earle, Berrios claimed he had split with Culpo in January, and he flew to Los Angeles that weekend to seek closure with Culpo, who learned about his meeting with Earle.
Earle later mentions their helicopter date in March and a trip to the Hamptons in June, where she teased their romance on TikTok. Despite enjoying their time together, things took a turn when Culpo accused Berrios of cheating with Earle, leading to online gossip.
Earle denies being a homewrecker and expresses her upset feelings about the situation. She also shares that Culpo apologized to her via Instagram, and they hoped to move on.
In September, Culpo discussed her relationship with Berrios on a podcast, alluding to suspicions of his infidelity. Earle recalls her anger at Culpo’s accusations.
Despite the challenges, Berrios and Earle confirmed their relationship in November, and according to Earle, they are now in a “healthy relationship” built on good communication.
“I really do appreciate NFL man, and he is the best and is so respectful of me, and I’m trying to be my best self,” Earle concludes.
