Attention Swifties, it seems there’s a bit of “Bad Blood” brewing.
Popular Philadelphia radio station Q102 has just announced that in preparation for the upcoming Eagles-Chiefs game on Monday night, they are temporarily removing Taylor Swift’s music from their weekend playlist.
“The Eagle/Chiefs Game is Monday night,” stated Buster Satterfield, on-air personality and Program Director at Q102, in a recent news release. “And we need the Birds to focus. Q102 Loves Taylor Swift as much as the rest of the world, but this weekend, the only Swift and Kelce we recognize play for the Birds.”
To mark this decision, the station plans to play their final Taylor Swift song at 5 p.m. ET on Friday.
This move comes in light of Swift’s vocal support for the Kansas City Chiefs, especially since the inception of her relationship with tight end Travis Kelce, despite her being a self-proclaimed Eagles fan.

Q102’s brief suspension of Swift’s music is a playful and good-natured gesture, with the final Swift song of the weekend set to air at 5 p.m. ET today. The station intends to reintroduce Swift’s music to their playlist on Tuesday, following the game and what appears to be a lighthearted publicity stunt.
“This weekend we gotta focus, so we’ve been forced to punt Taylor Swift from the playlist,” remarked Satterfield earlier this week on Good Day Philadelphia.
While Swift is currently in Brazil for her Eras Tour, with shows scheduled in Rio de Janeiro through Sunday and São Paulo next weekend, no performances are slated for Monday night. So, Swifties, fear not—Q102 plans to bring back the pop star’s music on Tuesday.
