Once again, the NFL insiders are facing criticism.
Jalen Ramsey has yet to step onto the field for the Miami Dolphins this season due to a knee injury. However, ESPN’s Adam Schefter suggested that this could change in the upcoming weekend. The plan, as per the ESPN NFL reporter, was for Ramsey to make his return this Sunday when the Dolphins face the Patriots.
“Dolphins are planning for CB Jalen Ramsey to make his return Sunday from the knee injury that he suffered this summer, per sources,” Schefter reported on Thursday. “Ramsey now is expected to be back on the field three months after his knee surgery, with his Dolphins’ debut coming vs. the Patriots.”

However, it seems that this information was not accurate.
The Miami Dolphins cornerback took to Twitter after receiving a flurry of text messages and criticized Schefter for his report.
“So this is why I just got a crazy amount of texts,” the rehabbing All-Pro cornerback said via – naturally, social media. “Well, this is news to me … mfs don’t care about being right, they care about being first in today’s media. That’s sad.”
Ramsey initiated his 21-day return window from injured reserve on October 18. While playing on Sunday appears more likely than before, it’s not a certainty.
“Full transparency, there’s a CHANCE that I can play this Sunday, but that decision genuinely isn’t made yet,” Ramsey wrote. “I won’t play if I feel any less than GREAT.”
The Dolphins have managed a 5-2 record this season without Ramsey, but they are coming off a 31-17 loss to the Eagles, and their defense conceded 48 points earlier in the season against the Bills.
Miami had already appeared as a strong contender, and the addition of Ramsey could further solidify their position.
