Zion Williamson’s troubling offseason continues.
Ric Bucher comments on Zion Williamson’s playing style, questioning the absence of floaters, up and under layups, and pull-up jumpers at the elbow.
According to reports, Zion does not seem interested in developing these skills, which is in contrast to what Blake Griffin did when faced with injuries.
“Where are the floaters, up and under layups, his pull up jumpers at the elbow? Now from what I’ve been told, he’s shown no interest in developing any of those tricks. Tricks that Blake Griffin learned along with a decent three-point shot when the injuries started to pile up for him, and allowed him to single-handedly drag the Detroit Pistons to a playoff berth.”
Zion Williamson reportedly has ‘no interest’ in developing a floater and pull up jumper, per @RicBucher

Griffin’s ability to master these moves, along with a decent three-point shot, allowed him to single-handedly lead the Detroit Pistons to a playoff berth.
While not as awe-inspiring as his prime years with the Clippers, Griffin’s success in Detroit reflected his adaptable playing style when his athleticism diminished.
Might be time for Zion to develop his overall game, and not just rely on his athleticism.
Meanwhile, since Zion Williamson shared the news about expecting a child with his girlfriend, a particular adult film star has continuously directed attention towards the New Orleans Pelicans basketball player.
Definitely not the greatest offseason.
