The Baltimore County Police have concluded their investigation into the domestic assault case involving Zay Flowers, wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens.
Earlier this month, Baltimore County Police acknowledged being informed of an alleged assault concerning Flowers in the Owings Mills area on Jan. 21. Additionally, a police department in Acton, Mass. participated in the inquiry.
Flowers has not been charged with any offense, and it seems it will remain that way. According to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley, Baltimore County Police have closed the investigation involving Flowers and do not intend to press charges.

The purported incident occurred a week before the AFC Championship Game, in which Flowers played despite the accusation, though his performance was notably affected.
Selected as the 22nd overall pick in last year’s draft by the Ravens, Flowers, a product of Boston College, made a significant impact on the field as a rookie. He led the team with 858 receiving yards and secured five touchdown passes.
