Lisa Wilson continues to overshadow her son.
The New York Jets quarterback, Zach Wilson, is facing an uncertain future with the team, while his mother, Lisa Wilson, is facing backlash over recent comments she made.
Mike and Lisa Wilson have raised Zach and their five other children in Utah since tying the knot on March 8, 1997. Despite their seemingly happy family dynamic, Lisa recently stirred controversy with a post on her Instagram story.
In the video, Lisa and her husband are seen in the gym, with Lisa captioning the post, “I’m having an affair with the hot guy from the gym, who also happens to be my husband.”

However, not everyone found the caption humorous, with one individual expressing their disapproval, stating that affairs are no laughing matter as they can devastate families and lives.
In response to the criticism, Lisa defended her post, explaining that she was not making light of affairs but rather trying to inject some spark into her marriage. She shared that they were going through a rough patch and attempted to reignite the passion by flirting and sending sexy texts, which ultimately helped strengthen their bond.
Lisa emphasized that she is simply a wife and mother trying to share what works for her in the hopes of helping others live their best lives.
While Lisa’s Instagram is predominantly filled with family photos and memories, the recent controversy highlights the challenges of navigating social media and differing interpretations of humor and personal anecdotes.
Meanwhile, Zach Wilson’s future with the New York Jets remains uncertain, with Jets general manager Joe Douglas announcing that Wilson has been granted permission to seek a trade. However, given his inconsistent performance in the past seasons, it’s unclear if there will be any takers willing to trade assets for him.
Wilson’s third year in New York saw him throw for 2,271 yards, eight touchdowns, and seven interceptions in 12 games, raising questions about his long-term viability as the team’s starting quarterback.
