Wilson and Dellanno have been in a relationship since last summer and have made multiple appearances together on social media. However, despite being the main quarterback for the Jets since being drafted in 2021, Wilson won’t be starting next season as the team has acquired Aaron Rodgers in a trade.
At the age of 23, Wilson will now be playing the backup role to the veteran Rodgers, who is considered one of the best mentors for a young quarterback.
Although Wilson was benched on two occasions during the previous campaign, the Jets seem to believe he is not the player who can lead them to a Super Bowl. They were reportedly of the opinion that they needed a quarterback to win a championship.
Nevertheless, playing behind Rodgers could provide Wilson with valuable experience and guidance.
If Rodgers decides to retire in 2024, Wilson could be ready to take the lead for the team once again.
