Add Mick Foley to the list of Taylor Swift admirers.
After a remarkable football season that saw Taylor Swift prominently featured alongside boyfriend Travis Kelce, former professional wrestler Mick Foley shared a touching personal anecdote about the 14-time Grammy winner.
Foley, known for his wrestling career, revealed that he’s a Swiftie not only because of her talent but also because of her relationship with longtime wrestler friend Jeff Jarrett.
In 2007, Jarrett tragically lost his wife and high school sweetheart, Jill, to cancer. During this challenging time, Foley learned that Swift had taken Jarrett’s daughters out for the day.
“I was literally stunned to find out that the Taylor he had mentioned was Taylor Swift,” Foley wrote on Facebook. Despite Swift’s rising stardom at the time, she had become a source of support for Jarrett’s family, baking cookies, singing, babysitting, and spending quality time with them.

Jarrett confirmed that Swift’s presence was not a “random act of kindness” but rather a genuine connection she had formed with his daughters, who grew up with and without their mother.
One of Jarrett’s daughters, Jaclyn, even portrayed Swift in her 2010 music video “Mine.”
Foley was moved by Jarrett’s gratitude and shared the story to encourage others to appreciate Swift’s kindness and to reconsider any negative sentiments they may have towards her.
Swift, after celebrating the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory, flew off to Australia to continue her Eras Tour.
