Despite her ongoing recovery in Portugal, Ana Maria Markovic managed to find some time to visit the beach.
The Croatian footballer, known for her stunning natural beauty, has been recognized as the world’s most beautiful footballer.
Unfortunately, her journey has been marred by a dreadful knee injury sustained in March.
Despite being required to use crutches for a week following her injury, the 23-year-old has been steadily improving her fitness. This setback did not hinder her from fully enjoying the European summer.
Following her recent experience at Switzerland’s largest hip hop festival, she decided to travel to Portugal for a week of intensive rehabilitation to aid in the healing of her ACL.

Markovic’s off-pitch fame has increased due to her title, which she openly admitted is quite flattering. However, she does not particularly appreciate being referred to as sexy.
She told 20 Minuten:
“I like articles that call me the most beautiful footballer – or one of the most beautiful – because it makes me happy to hear that I’m beautiful.
“But then there are articles describing me as the ‘sexiest’ player in football. That doesn’t sit well with me. Also, because of my family.”
For that reason alone we are going to call her the Most Beautiful.
