Cory Seager took a swing at the Astros.
For the second consecutive year, Texas witnessed a World Series parade. However, this time it unfolded in Arlington rather than Houston, much to the dismay of Astros fans.
The Texas Rangers celebrated their inaugural World Series championship with a parade on Friday, a celebration that might have belonged to the Astros. But Houston missed out on its chance for a third consecutive World Series appearance by losing to Texas in a seven-game ALCS showdown.

To make matters worse, Rangers’ star and World Series MVP Corey Seager couldn’t resist rubbing it in during his parade speech. He playfully mocked a speech by Alex Bregman, which Bregman delivered after the Astros secured the AL West crown, outperforming the Rangers.
Despite trailing Texas in the divisional standings for the majority of the season, Houston managed to clinch the division once again due to a late-season surge.
In response to the Astros’ division-clinching speech by Bregman, which went viral, Seager playfully echoed those words a month later during the Rangers’ World Series parade.
“People were speculating about the outcome if the Rangers didn’t win the World Series,” Seager quipped. “I guess we’ll never know.” His words ignited cheers from the crowd, and Seager promptly made his exit from the stage.
It was a memorable mic drop moment. While Houston secured the division, it was evident that Texas had the last laugh.
