It’s football season!
The spotlight was on Indiana and Ohio State at Memorial Stadium last Saturday, but an unexpected altercation outside the stadium stole the show.
On a beautiful day for football, a heated argument among women quickly escalated into physical violence, with punches being thrown. One of the women appeared to be a mother figure and she wasn’t about to tolerate any disrespect on that day.
The mother figure was caught on camera exchanging blows with younger women, prompting men to step in and separate them.
Unfortunately for the home team, that altercation turned out to be the most spirited fight of the day.
Ultimately, Ohio State emerged victorious with a 23-3 win over Indiana. It was always going to be a tough challenge for Indiana, as Ohio State had not lost a season opener since 1999 and now boasts an impressive 28-game winning streak against the Hoosiers, the longest active streak against a single opponent in the entire country.

Quarterback Kyle McCord completed 20 of 33 passes for 239 yards, with one interception and no touchdowns. Cade Stover was the leading receiver with 98 yards on five catches, while Chip Trayanum led all rushers with 57 yards.
Indiana employed a two-quarterback system against Ohio State and is expected to continue with the same strategy against Indiana State. Tayven Jackson is set to start against Indiana State in week two after Brendan Sorsby started in week one, completing just 1 of his 5 attempts against the Buckeyes.
The fan base is undoubtedly hoping for a much stronger performance from the team in the upcoming games.
