After the Kansas City Chiefs secured their spot in the 2024 Super Bowl — celebrated by tight end Travis Kelce planting a now-viral kiss on girlfriend Taylor Swift — even former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy weighed in.
Ramaswamy, who dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Donald Trump, predicted that the upcoming Super Bowl between the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers would be rigged for the former to set the stage for Swift’s endorsement of President Biden come November.
“I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall,” Ramaswamy posted on X in response to a theory by alt-right media personality Jack Posobiec.
“Thinking about when Taylor Swift called out the Soros family in 2019 for buying the rights to her music and then how she came out super liberal in 2020,” wrote Posobiec, who’s widely known for spearheading the “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory.
“Just some wild speculation over here; let’s see how it ages over the next eight months,” Ramaswamy added.

It’s unclear whether Swift is planning to endorse Biden for a second term, though the president’s camp has expressed interest in getting the global pop star involved in its campaign.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a top Biden surrogate, “all but begged” Swift to throw her support behind the commander-in-chief, the New York Times reported.
“Taylor Swift stands tall and unique,” Newsom told reporters after a Republican primary debate in September.
“What she was able to accomplish just in getting young people activated to consider that they have a voice and that they should have a choice in the next election, I think, is profoundly powerful,” he added.
Buzz around Swift endorsing Biden has gotten so intense that Biden’s campaign team urged applicants for an open social media position not to describe its strategy to recruit Swift, who has more than 279 million followers on Instagram.
Swift alone has created a “brand value” of $331.5 million for the Chiefs and the NFL, according to Front Office Sports. This figure accounted for print, digital, radio, television, highlights, and social media monitoring from September 24 to January 22, and calculated a financial amount for each occurrence based on “reach and impact.”
In October, when the Swift-Kelce romance became a sensation, the Grammy winner generated $166 million. Swift has become a regular at Kelce’s games, attending 12 of 18, including all three of the Chiefs’ playoff games in their run to Super Bowl 2024.
Additionally, Swift has helped sell merchandise. Kelce gear had a 400% increase, and his became a top-five-selling jersey after Swift attended her first Chiefs game.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said earlier this year that the romance is “great” for the NFL. “Listen, they’re happy. They seem to be enjoying their relationship. That’s great in and of itself. But it has connected more fans of Taylor’s and more fans of the NFL in some ways. To see that they have a connection, now they have a connection to our game and to Taylor.”
