Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball has been the subject of scrutiny due to his dangerous driving habits, with several videos surfacing that show him driving recklessly and running red lights near the Hornets’ arena.
Ball, known for his significant NBA earnings and love for luxury cars, boasts a collection that includes multiple Ferraris and a Bentley. Despite his affluence, Ball’s driving behavior has raised concerns about his responsibility on the road.
While a viral compilation showcasing his reckless driving has been removed, the community’s worry has not diminished, with many urging him to either improve his driving skills or employ a professional driver.

Compounding the issue, a recent incident has brought further negative attention. A family in Charlotte alleges that Ball drove over 11-year-old Angell Joseph’s foot, breaking it, after the boy had asked for an autograph.
The incident reportedly occurred as fans were approaching players after an event, with Angell’s mother recounting her son’s plea to Ball for an autograph before the accident. The family describes the significant physical and emotional pain Angell has suffered, involving his favorite player.
As of now, neither the NBA nor the Charlotte Hornets have publicly addressed this latest incident involving Ball’s driving. However, given the severity of these allegations, league intervention may be forthcoming to address the potential liability concerns.
