Viral NFL combine star T’Vondre Sweat has been arrested and is facing a DWI charge, according to KXAN News in Austin, Texas.
The star defensive tackle from the University of Texas went viral during the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana due to his impressive 40-yard dash.

According to records from Travis County Jail, the former University of Texas defensive lineman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
The Austin Police Department detained Sweat, 22, who was booked into the jail at 2:12 p.m. on Sunday.
Driving while intoxicated is classified as a Class B misdemeanor, and Sweat’s bond has been set at $3,000.
Sweat, who was honored as the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Year, won the 2023 Outland Trophy for being the best interior lineman in college football.
His play helped the Longhorns to victory in the Big 12 championship and secured a spot in the College Football Playoff semifinals which resulted in a loss to the University of Washington.
He is projected to be drafted in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft, scheduled for April 25-27 in Detroit, but we will see if this arrest affects his draft stock.
