It should be noted that the police announced on Wednesday that no charges would be filed. A statement was issued, revealing that the individual involved, who would have been considered a victim if charges were pressed, had voluntarily visited the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.
There, he met with Assistant State Attorney Robert Fiallo and completed a notarized Non-Prosecution Form, expressing his decision not to pursue criminal charges. The form also confirms that no threats, promises, or coercion influenced his choice.
A spokesperson for both Hill and the alleged victim informed ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday that they had reached a settlement.
Hill himself, during a press conference on Wednesday, expressed his desire to move on from the incident, acknowledging his mistake, stating, “I just can’t make bonehead mistakes like that.”
