It’s been a rough season for the Detroit Pistons.
Pistons center Jalen Duren is going to need some dental work done after the Pistons game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
In the first quarter, Duren took an unintentional shoulder to the mouth from Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr.
Slow motion video of the contact shows Duren’s tooth going flying as contact is made.
Duren left the game and did not return.
Meanwhile, Jackson Jr. scored 40 points in the Grizzlies 110-108 victory.
While Duren suffered a rather uncomfortable injury, many users who seemingly bet the “over” on at least one Jalen Duren player prop used the injury as a way to complain about losing their bet.
Maybe more people should try betting “unders?”
Hopefully, Duren can get the dental work he needs done and return to the Pistons lineup soon.
With the loss, the Pistons fell to 13-62 on the season while the Grizzlies improved to 25-50.
