It appears that fan altercations are in full swing this season.
Monday night’s showdown between the New Orleans Saints and the Carolina Panthers wasn’t the sole physical confrontation at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A video posted on Instagram by a bystander captured a chaotic brawl in the stadium concourse involving a man decked out in Panthers attire and another individual who seems to be a Saints supporter.

The exact cause of the altercation remains unclear, as the video commences with the presumed Saints fan, dressed in black and white, already in a dominant position over the Panthers fan, delivering a flurry of punches.

Anson Phillips, the Instagram user who shared the video, captioned it, “Summing up the Saints vs. Panthers Monday Night Game.”
Comments from other Instagram users on the video included playful references to the Panthers’ team motto, “Keep pounding.” One user humorously remarked, “That was a whole box of spicy Popeyes chicken, about 6 biscuits, and NO darn sweet tea! Darn.”
