Meet me in the tunnel for a little confrontation?
You certainly don’t want to be on the opposing end of Carolina Panthers defensive lineman Derrick Brown when he’s riled up. He’s a force to be reckoned with, given his immense size and incredible strength.
However, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas found himself in precisely that situation following the prime-time showdown between the NFC South rivals. The incident was initially reported by Kyle Bailey of WFNZ, who tweeted about it after the Saints’ 20-17 victory.
Watch the scene unfold below:
That must have been quite a scene, right? Picture a 6-foot-5, 320-pound powerhouse chasing down a receiver while being somewhat held back by a team staff member.
Well, guess what? We’re in luck because we can actually witness it!
The two-time All-Pro wide receiver has also commented on the incident in a tweet.
Perhaps, fortunately for Thomas, Brown wasn’t able to catch up with him. And if he had, that quick retreat to the X-ray room might have come in handy.
