There’s no shortage of evidence for NFL fans when it comes to recognizing the sometimes obnoxious and unpleasant behavior exhibited by certain supporters of the sport.
This unfortunate reality became even more apparent on Monday night following an injury to Aaron Rodgers.
During Monday Night Football, Aaron Rodgers’ debut with the New York Jets was cut short after just four snaps.
He attempted to evade a charging Leonard Floyd, who managed to tackle him to the turf at MetLife Stadium. It appeared that Rodgers reached down at his leg before team trainers rushed to his aid. After a brief moment, he managed to stand up but required assistance to reach the Jets’ sideline.

Rodgers was subsequently taken to the blue medical tent for evaluation and was later seen sitting on a cart, signaling the end of his night.
Back in his previous football home, presumably in Green Bay, some of his former fans surprisingly displayed enthusiasm when he was sacked and cheered upon realizing he was injured.
Watch below:
Coach Robert Saleh revealed that the team believes Rodgers injured his left Achilles tendon during the sack by Buffalo’s Leonard Floyd and an awkward fall during Monday night’s 22-16 overtime victory against the Bills.
Now, the four-time MVP and a shocked fan base must await information about the duration of his potential absence, which will more than likely be at least one full season.
In the game, Zach Wilson stepped in for Rodgers, completing 14 of 21 passes for 140 yards, which included a touchdown pass to Garrett Wilson and an interception. If Rodgers, as expected, is sidelined, the third-year quarterback will start for the Jets in their next game against Dallas next Sunday.
It’s worth noting that New York acquired Rodgers, the No. 15 overall pick, and a fifth-round draft pick from Green Bay back in April.
