In a startling incident captured on video, a Philadelphia MMA fighter made a daring attempt to thwart four car thieves in broad daylight.
Egor Kostyuchenko, a 25-year-old fighter, leaped onto his Mercedes-Benz and clung to the car door as the culprits drove away through the streets of Philadelphia.
Kostyuchenko, known by his fighting alias Igor “Course Duchango,” shared his account of the event during an interview with After Hours presented by Law and Crime.
He recounted the initial shock and confusion he felt upon realizing that his car was being stolen right before his eyes. Driven by determination to stop the thieves, Kostyuchenko made the bold decision to chase after them and hang onto the side of his stolen vehicle.
Despite his courageous efforts, the alleged thieves successfully escaped with his car. Fortunately, Kostyuchenko emerged from the ordeal without any injuries.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the car theft.
It’s certainly an unconventional approach to trying to recover one’s stolen vehicle.
