Josh Allen is one big dude.
During the current time of year, tensions between teammates are running high as they enter training camps, where the intense heat and mounting pressure cause everyone to be on edge.
Today, we revisit an incident involving Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and a 341-pound player that resulted in a heated scuffle.
This altercation took place during the first fight of the Bills’ 2022 training camp, just as the practice was winding down and the first-team players were engaged in team drills.
The play called for a designed run up the middle for Allen. However, when Allen collided with defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, who exerted some shoulder contact on the quarterback, Allen reacted negatively.
In response, Allen promptly turned around and gave Phillips a shove, leading to chaos and an eruption of tempers among everyone on the field. Although media coverage of team drills is not permitted, fans who witnessed the session recorded the incident.

It was one of the standout moments from the previous year’s training camp. Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, who had a breakout year with the Bills in 2019, re-signed with the team on a one-year, $3 million contract during the offseason.
In the 2022 season, Phillips appeared in 12 games as part of Buffalo’s defensive line rotation.
During his time on the field, he recorded 20 tackles, including three for a loss, and 1.5 sacks.
Clearly, Phillips retains an important role within the team, and the scuffle did not negatively affect his standing.
