The New York Mets have yet to win a game in the 2024 MLB season, but that’s not stopping Mets star Pete Alonso from enjoying some country music.

The Mets slugger was seen on stage and singing with country music star Luke Bryan at UBS Arena in New York.

Alonso and the Mets have dropped two consecutive games to the Milwaukee Brewers to open the season, but Alonso did hit a home run in Saturday afternoon’s game which they lost 7-6.

Alonso showed plenty of power in 2023 as he usually does with 46 home runs, but he will be looking to improve on a .217 batting average which was a career-low for him.

Over parts of six seasons with the Mets, Alonso has a .251 batting average with 193 home runs and 499 runs batted in.

The Mets will be looking for their first win of the 2024 MLB season on Sunday afternoon as Tylor Megill takes the mound for them against the Brewers at Citi Field in New York.
