Hurricane Hilary wreaked havoc on Dodger Stadium over the weekend, causing extensive flooding and forcing the rescheduling of the Dodgers’ game against the Miami Marlins.
A video captured from a helicopter, shared on X late Sunday, reveals the stadium surrounded by rising waters.
The clip has been going extremely viral.

This event marks the first time in 84 years that a hurricane has made landfall in California, a surprising occurrence for Dodger manager Dave Roberts, who expressed his astonishment at the unprecedented nature of the situation.
“This is crazy. I mean, a hurricane in Southern California, that’s very unprecedented, clearly,” he told MLB.com. “So I just want to make sure we get ahead of it, people get safe and then it passes us by.”
Roberts emphasized the importance of ensuring people’s safety and minimizing the impact of the hurricane.
The issuance of tropical storm watches on the West Coast of the United States is also a first, according to San Diego-based meteorologist Elizabeth Adams.
The National Hurricane Center predicts that Hurricane Hilary will weaken to a tropical storm as it approaches the southern U.S., but it still poses a significant threat, with potential for catastrophic and life-threatening flooding.
