How tall is Victor Wembanyama?
Victor Wembanyama’s official height for the NBA draft this year is 7 feet, 3½ inches without shoes, according to the San Antonio Spurs.
This measurement is half an inch taller than what Wembanyama claimed in October during his exhibition games in Las Vegas.
At that time, he stated his height as 2.21 meters, and he now stands nearly 2.23 meters.

Considering that he was 18 then and has turned 19 since, it is reasonable to assume that he may still have some growth left.
Various sources have listed Wembanyama’s height anywhere between 7-foot-2 and 7-foot-5, based on his imposing stature compared to other 7-footers in photographs.
The NBA listed him at 7-4 in the draft guide, but this was not an official measurement. With a height of 7-3½, Wembanyama is on track to become the league’s second-tallest player in the upcoming season.
The NBA officially listed Boban Marjanovic at 7-4 last season as the tallest player, while Kristaps Porzingis was listed at 7-3. Most players in the draft had their heights measured by the NBA, primarily at the draft combine in Chicago.
However, Wembanyama was unable to attend the combine due to his ongoing season with his French team. Upon his arrival in San Antonio, the Spurs obtained his official measurement.
Wembanyama would have been the tallest player at the combine, narrowly surpassing Purdue’s Zach Edey, who measured at 7-3¼. The NBA changed its policy in 2019, requiring players to be measured without shoes for their official height, resulting in some players appearing shorter by an inch.
However, a few players, such as Kevin Durant, actually gained an inch on paper when their measurements were updated.
