The Victor Wembanyama media storm has slowed down quite a bit.
But we’re going to keep tabs on the big man.
Victor Wembanyama praised the Spurs fans as the top supporters in the league after witnessing their enthusiasm in San Antonio before the draft.
A devoted fan named Mark Burnett added to the excitement by getting a remarkable hair art featuring the 19-year-old basketball player, skillfully done by Joe Barber, a well-known creator of Spurs-themed hairstyles.
When Burnett shared photos of his unique haircut and tagged Wembanyama, the young player humorously reacted on his Instagram story, saying, “I’m NOT responsible, I swear.”
Last weekend, Burnett’s haircut gained attention from various sports media outlets online, including a repost by Overtime from MySA on Instagram, which led Wembanyama to comment, “Spurs Deada** got the best fanbase in the league.”
Now it’s Wemby’s turn to get a haircut, albeit a much more conservative cut.
Wemby got cleaned up on the Vegas strip.

It appears that the NBA’s future is secure with the promising talents of Wembanyama and Henderson leading the way, supported by other potential stars from the 2023 NBA draft class. Wemby might have lost an inch or two on his height, but he’ll be okay.
Can’t wait for the season to begin!
