NBA enthusiasts seem to be losing their faith in Victor Wembanyama, as footage has surfaced of the Frenchman missing straightforward jumpers at a recent shootaround.
The San Antonio Spurs recruited Wemby as their first overall pick, but many are already questioning their decision, or at least having fun with it.

Wembanyama was met with a level of hype similar to that seen when LeBron James announced his pro debut in 2003, and despite initial doubts, James has since become the NBA’s all-time top scorer.
Wemby enters the league with a clear advantage in his towering height and impressive wingspan, but it seems that he struggles to hit successful shots outside of the paint. The clip below shows Wembanyama, donning his Spurs gear, missing three shots in a row before finally sinking one through an alley-hoop.
This caused a wave of relief among the onlookers, who cheered him off the court. In the wake of these reactions, many fans are already branding him a bust.
Sure, it would be unfair to judge a 19-year-old based on the above. But the internet is an unforgiving place.
