This isn’t the first time UConn has received Kobe sneakers; last year, they were gifted Huskies Kobe 8 Protros as part of the Mamba Program from Nike. The team went on to achieve remarkable success, clinching victory in the entire tournament.
With the “Italian Camo” Protros in tow, UConn fans are hopeful that the sneakers will serve as a lucky charm for the Huskies as they face San Diego State. The highly anticipated showdown between UConn and San Diego State is scheduled for tonight, with tipoff at 7:39 p.m. ET.
As usual, UConn enters the game as heavy favorites according to oddsmakers. Fans eagerly await to see if Dan Hurley’s squad can continue their winning streak once more.
