Bronny James, the eldest son of NBA legend LeBron James, appears ready for action in the first photos showcasing him in his collegiate jersey.
USC Basketball’s official Instagram account unveiled the initial glimpse of Bronny, who is 18 years old, sporting his debut red-and-gold threads for the Trojans.
In the photos, Bronny is seen wearing his No. 6 jersey against a fiery backdrop. These images will be part of a team introduction video for the upcoming season, according to the university.

It’s worth noting that LeBron, who is 38 years old, briefly wore the same number (No. 6) as Bronny when he played for the Miami Heat in 2010 before switching back to No. 23 when he returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014.
Additional photos released by the team feature Bronny’s USC teammates, including top prospects Kobe Johnson and Brandon Gardner, posing in front of Los Angeles-themed imagery depicting palm trees and the city’s skyline for the team’s video shoot.
USC Basketball is set to begin their season on November 9th at Galen Center, where they will face Cal State Bakersfield.
As for Bronny’s participation in the Trojans’ season, it remains uncertain. The former Sierra Canyon standout is currently in recovery following a diagnosis of “an anatomically and functionally significant congenital heart defect” in August.
