Megan Lucky, known for her famous beer-chugging antics at the US Open in 2021 and 2022, is once again making waves as she claimed she was denied the opportunity to appear on the jumbotron for a third time, leaving fans disappointed.
The 27-year-old viral sensation, who has garnered over 114k followers on Instagram due to her impressive beer-chugging skills, expressed her confusion about not being featured at the 2023 US Open in an Instagram post.
While Megan Lucky wasn’t sure about the reasons behind her apparent snub, she did mention her intention to take her ‘Beer Girl’ persona to another sporting event after being denied the chance to entertain the audience at this year’s tournament.

“I obviously went to the US Open this past weekend, and for whatever reason, whoever was in charge, did not want me on the jumbotron this year,” she explained.
“I don’t know their reasons, they didn’t share them with me, but I still had a lot of fun and I’ve made my peace with it. I know the universe has a plan for me, and like I said last time, ‘Beer Girl’ is part of me, and maybe I’ll take her to another sport that wants some of her fun-loving energy soon.”
Lucky reassured her fans that her ‘Beer Girl’ days are far from over and promised to make another appearance very soon.
In addition to her ‘Beer Girl’ persona, Megan Lucky is a certified yoga instructor and an NLP life coach, adding to her multi-faceted identity beyond being a viral beer-chugging icon. Fans eagerly await her next appearance and where ‘Beer Girl’ will make her mark next.
Maybe next year?
