University of Washington running back Tybo Rogers has been arrested and charged with the alleged rape of two women.
The 18-year-old stands accused of committing these acts on separate occasions after being invited to their residences following connections made on the dating app Tinder during last year’s football season, as detailed in court documents filed on April 9, according to reports from King 5, Associated Press, and ESPN.
Rogers was taken into custody on the morning of April 5 and charged with one count of second-degree rape and one count of third-degree rape in King County Superior Court, according to these outlets.
This arrest follows a report by a 19-year-old woman in October 2023, and a subsequent report by a 22-year-old woman in November of similar allegations against the same individual, leading to Rogers’ arrest, as shared in a press release by the Seattle Police Department.

As outlined in court documents cited by King 5, Associated Press, and ESPN, Rogers is accused of assaulting the first woman at her apartment while one roommate was asleep and the other was away at work. The documents allege that Rogers met the second woman at a Halloween party in a fraternity on Greek Row, and after matching on Tinder, he visited her apartment where the alleged assault took place.
Following his arrest, Rogers was booked into the King County Jail on April 5 and subsequently released on bail of $150,000, according to a report by King 5.
