Tyreek Hill’s mother, Anesha Sanchez, has been accused of assaulting a friend during a heated argument that took place last month. According to reports from TMZ, the incident occurred around July 1 in Southwest Ranches, Florida, where Sanchez and her friend, identified as Maleney, became embroiled in a serious dispute.
As detailed in a police report, the argument escalated to the point where Sanchez offered to drive Maleney home in an attempt to calm the situation. However, tensions flared once they were in the car. It is alleged that Sanchez became aggressive during the drive and struck Maleney in the face with the back of her hand. After the slap, Sanchez reportedly ordered her friend to get out of the vehicle.
But the situation took another turn when Sanchez, noticing that it was raining, quickly asked Maleney to get back into the car. As Maleney attempted to re-enter the vehicle, Sanchez allegedly grabbed her, inadvertently breaking Maleney’s gold necklace in the process. Despite the altercation, Maleney did get back into the car, and Sanchez drove her home as initially intended.
According to the police report, Sanchez kept the damaged necklace and promised Maleney that she would have it repaired. However, as of July 31, the necklace had not been returned. Despite the physical altercation, Maleney reportedly informed the police that she did not wish for anyone to be arrested or face jail time.

This incident is just one of the legal matters currently involving Tyreek Hill and his family. The NFL star is also facing a lawsuit from Sophie Hall, a plus-size OnlyFans model, who claims that Hill injured her during a backyard scrimmage at his Florida mansion. Hall alleges that Hill charged at her with such force during the scrimmage that it resulted in a broken leg.
Hill, who recently signed a lucrative $90 million deal with the Miami Dolphins, has been under scrutiny throughout his career for various off-field incidents. Hall’s lawsuit includes a request for any communications between Hill and NFL officials that might reveal undisclosed findings related to his conduct. Her legal team has also indicated plans to subpoena the NFL, as well as Hill’s current and former teams, the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs, and even the NCAA and Oklahoma State University, where Hill was previously dismissed from the team for an unrelated incident involving his ex-fiancée.
The legal drama surrounding Hill is intensifying as he prepares for his ninth NFL season. Coming off a stellar year where he recorded a career-high 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns, Hill’s on-field performance continues to shine despite the controversies off the field. The Miami Dolphins ended their previous season with an 11-6 record, but were ultimately knocked out of the playoffs by Hill’s former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, in the Wild Card round.
As both Tyreek Hill and his mother face these legal challenges, the scrutiny on the star wide receiver and his family shows no signs of letting up, adding an extra layer of complexity to what promises to be a pivotal season for Hill and the Dolphins.
