Tyreek Hill is set to face a videotaped deposition as part of a lawsuit in which he is accused of causing serious injury to a plus-sized model. The Miami Dolphins star, however, insists that the claims are nothing more than a ploy to boost her risqué OnlyFans page. Sophie Hall, a 35-year-old influencer, is suing Hill for allegedly charging at her with “crushing force” during a backyard football drill, resulting in a fractured right leg that required reconstructive surgery last year.
Hall’s legal team claims that Hill’s actions were reckless and led to her severe injury.
In response, Hill’s lawyers argue that Hall’s real motive is to generate headlines and drive traffic to her OnlyFans account, which features content under the name “Tall Girl Sophie VIP.” Hall offers a variety of explicit content on the subscription platform, ranging from “tall girl content, BBW, b/g, crushing, face-sitting, goddess worshipping,” to “giantess vids,” for an annual fee of $57.60. The 6-foot-1, 250-pound influencer describes herself as “Your favorite Blue-eyed Tall Goddess with the most amazing curves” and entices new subscribers with offers like a “free nude tape” and a 30-day free trial.
Hall has amassed more than three million followers across Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok, which has further fueled Hill’s defense that her primary interest is gaining exposure. Hill’s lawyer, Robert Horwitz, asserted that her income relies heavily on social media visibility and that the lawsuit is an attempt to generate publicity.
“On certain of her accounts, they are member-only, requiring the payment of money for monthly subscriptions. Her revenue and income rely heavily on her being seen by as many users as possible,” Horwitz wrote. “In regard to this case, it is clear that the plaintiff is highly motivated not only by the prospect of financial compensation but also by the opportunity to grow her online influencer business.”
Hill’s legal team managed to prevent Hall from filing an amended complaint that included clippings and references to his previous incidents involving domestic violence. Despite this small victory, Hill is still required to participate in a videotaped deposition scheduled for December 3, according to court filings obtained by DailyMail.com.
Hall’s original lawsuit, filed in February, alleges that Hill began sending her flirtatious Instagram messages after she enrolled her ten-year-old son in the Tyreek Hill Football Camp in May of last year. Hill eventually flew Hall to Florida on June 28, where she visited his sprawling Southwest Ranches mansion, equipped with luxury amenities such as a spa, a putting green, an NBA regulation basketball court, and a turf football field.
Although Hall had no experience playing football, Hill suggested she join him for practice drills to better understand the offensive lineman position that her son plays. Hall claims that during one of the drills, she managed to push Hill backward, leading to laughter from witnesses, including Hill’s mother, sister, friend, and trainer. According to Hall, Hill’s demeanor changed after the incident, and he became visibly angry.
During the subsequent play, Hall alleges that Hill “charged into her violently and with great force, resulting in significant and serious injuries.” The suit describes the impact as being so forceful that it fractured Hall’s right leg, requiring surgery and the implantation of metal hardware.
Despite her injuries, Hall alleges that Hill downplayed the severity of the incident, offering her only ice and a bed to rest in. When she informed him of the extent of her injuries, Hill responded dismissively via text, saying, “Not a chance I just moved too fast around you.”
Hill’s lawyers have countered these allegations by pointing to text messages from Hall, in which she suggested she was still enjoying herself despite the incident. Hall reportedly stayed at Hill’s home for several more days and even participated in activities like fishing and four-wheeling, albeit with her leg in a brace. The defense also claims that Hall injured herself after tripping over a dog and had worn inappropriate footwear that had caused her to fall and hurt herself during a previous trip to Puerto Rico.
“I think I need to throw away those Gucci slides. That’s two injuries,” Hall wrote to her sister, according to messages presented by Hill’s defense.
Hall is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for negligence, battery, and assault. The case is yet another controversy in a career marked by off-field issues for Tyreek Hill, who is no stranger to legal troubles.
Nicknamed “Cheetah” for his incredible speed, Hill has faced multiple controversies dating back to 2014, when he was kicked off the Oklahoma State football team and received three years’ probation for assaulting his then-fiancée, Crystal Espinal, while she was pregnant with their son.
In 2019, Hill was suspended by the Kansas City Chiefs over child abuse allegations involving his son, but he was reinstated after a district attorney determined there was insufficient evidence to prove that Hill had broken the boy’s arm.
Despite the off-field issues, Hill has solidified his status as one of the NFL’s top players, delivering an extraordinary 2023 season with a league-leading 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. His performance helped the Miami Dolphins reach the playoffs, though they ultimately lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Wild Card Game.
However, 2023 was a tumultuous year for Hill off the field. In addition to the lawsuit brought by Hall, Hill endured a major house fire, became embroiled in paternity suits with multiple women, and filed to divorce wellness influencer Keeta Vaccaro—only to withdraw the petition days later, claiming it was filed without his knowledge.
Hill also faced legal trouble following a traffic stop on September 8, during which he was forcibly removed from his McLaren supercar by police officers outside Hard Rock Stadium. Hill has vowed to fight the charges, refusing to pay a $308 fine for careless driving and failing to wear a seatbelt.
As the legal proceedings with Hall continue, Hill’s reputation remains under scrutiny.
While he remains focused on his career with the Miami Dolphins, his off-field controversies continue to make headlines, painting a complex picture of one of the NFL’s most talented—and polarizing—players.
