Star running back Derrick Henry has attracted interest from at least two teams as he considers his next move for the 2024 season.
According to Brad Stainbrook, the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans are among the teams eyeing Henry’s talents.
Adding Henry to either roster would undoubtedly elevate their offensive capabilities heading into the upcoming season. For the Ravens, pairing Henry with J.K. Dobbins, once fully healthy, would create a formidable backfield duo. With such a potent rushing attack, the Ravens would become a daunting force for opposing defenses to contend with.

Similarly, the Texans, who made a playoff appearance last season, would significantly bolster their offense with Henry’s addition. Teaming him up with Dameon Pierce would create a dynamic and powerful running game that opponents would struggle to contain.
Henry’s track record speaks for itself, as he has consistently ranked among the league’s top running backs in recent seasons. Despite the Tennessee Titans missing the playoffs last season, Henry still amassed impressive statistics, totaling 280 carries for 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns.
His standout season came in 2020, where he set career highs with 378 carries for 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns. Despite turning 30, Henry remains a force to be reckoned with on the field.
As negotiations unfold, it remains to be seen which team Henry will ultimately join. While he may reach a verbal agreement on Tuesday, official signing cannot occur until Wednesday. Football fans eagerly await the outcome of this high-profile free agency decision.
