Just last week, the football community was shocked to learn that Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds was the victim of a shooting incident. Reynolds was shot twice after leaving a strip club in Glendale, Colorado, in the early hours of a Friday morning. According to multiple reports, Reynolds and two friends were spending time at a Glendale strip club when a man was spotted “keeping an eye on the group.”
As Reynolds and his friends eventually left the establishment, they were followed by the man, later identified as Luis Mendoza.
Reynolds got behind the wheel of his Ford Bronco, but shortly after they departed, gunfire erupted. Bullets pierced the vehicle, striking Reynolds twice. One of his friends was shot in the back, while the other suffered injuries from shattered glass. Despite their injuries, the trio managed to abandon the vehicle and contact the police for help.
Law enforcement acted swiftly, and two suspects were apprehended in connection with the shooting. These suspects now face a total of 38 charges, ranging from attempted murder to weapons possession.

In five games, Reynolds has racked up 12 receptions for 183 yards and one touchdown. Prior to joining the Broncos, Reynolds played for the Detroit Lions, where he became a fan favorite for his reliability and skill.
Over his career, Reynolds has recorded 232 receptions for 3,116 yards and 20 touchdowns.
The incident has cast a shadow over what was supposed to be an exciting season for Reynolds with his new team. Fans and teammates alike are hoping for his full recovery, and the Broncos organization has not yet provided a public statement regarding his current condition or availability for future games.
The situation serves as a stark reminder of the dangers that professional athletes can face off the field, and the entire NFL community is rallying around Reynolds and his friends during this challenging time.
